khanya project

As a non-profit organisation that believes in community involvement, Cresset House has undertaken an initiative which offers services that cater to the community of Tembisa. Our Khanya Project provides care to adults living with intellectual disabilities within the community.

Currently situated in Ivory Park which is a subsection of Tembisa, Khanya cares for 11 adults living with intellectual disabilities as a day-only basis. With 2 trainee staff overseeing the activities, villagers participate in stimulating arts and crafts activities, as well as regular sports days and Special Olympics events.

As a registered Public Benefit Organisation in terms of the Income Tax Act of 1962, a section 18A Tax Certificate is provided to individuals and organisations on receipt of all donations, sponsorships and/or pro bono services.

We invite individuals and organisations to play their part in the continuation of this worthwhile project.

Please reach out to us to chat about sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
